Every two years, the German Frankfurt transformed into a city of the world: designers, architects and engineers takes Light + Building, the largest exhibition in the field of lighting technology. The main directions - lighting, electrical equipment, engineering design, and intelligent systems for home, the main vector - energy efficiency and comfort of the world.
This time the exhibition refers to the design and technologies of the future, trying to predict and pre-empt them. Light + Building - this is the point at which digital technologies are found with the design, organizers believe. This year's innovative products in the field of lighting, electrical equipment and automation - from "smart" electricity use to designer lamps - are 2700 exhibitors from around the world. The number of visitors - 210 000 people, and almost half of them from outside Germany.

Traditionally, one of the key sectors of the Innovation Fair - "Lighting", the other two - "Electrical" and "Building Automation". LEDs have turned the design world and enabled the designers to create, despite the restrictions. New lighting NEMO, which are presented as part of the factory Light + Building 2018 without this technology imagine it would be impossible. Ceiling lamp TITIA, project Arihiro Miyake Japanese - it's like a twisted roll glowing grid with large cells. This is the third project for the NEMO Miyake - the first model was a light In the Wind, and the second - a lamp Kepler, made according to the principle of arithmetic Möbius strip. Amateur laconic forms, he even knows how to turn an ordinary tape so that it excites the imagination. The designer says that to work with the Italian brand had long dreamed of. Now he is torn between Helsinki, where he graduated from Aalto University, and Milan, where much of his work projects. In his writings he refers to the tradition of both countries design, but most of all the same to his native Japan, the main thing in his view is that it applies to all 360 degrees. In addition to the lamp Miyake NEMO factory introduced light DAPHNE Roberto Paoli and sconces TUBES Charles Kalpakyan.
In addition, the factory continued development of technical lighting systems Linescapes. It added spotlight and linzovannaya modules.

Lighting, embodying the concept of HCL (Human Centric Lighting), the exhibition presented several companies. Such lamps mimic sunlight during the day. Floor lamp UNIC, Steve Lehota
Look at the Light + Building costs and to newcomers, relatively young designers, who also presented their developments in the field of lighting technology and design. So, Simon Diner, a student at the school of arts HfG Karlsruhe, presented his variation on the theme of retro. In PONG hanging lamp, designed in the aesthetics of lamps mid XX century, four-meter cable that can, for example, wound on a tree branch. PONG itself runs on a battery and is recharged via USB. Do not get rid of the wires at all, and make them an object of design - that's what Diener sought. In turn, the designer duo from Berlin, Florian and Daniel Nyubling Real, came up with an intelligent lighting system in the form of glass mosaics. Panel color and light intensity can be set with the mobile app - mosaic canvas turns into a full screen. In addition, multi-touch and responds to voice. Swiss designer Steve Lehota, graduate art school ECAL, first presented at the show unusually high UNIC floor lamp, which can be used instead of the ceiling fixture or wall lamps - the intensity and direction of light is regulated by a special switch.
